Roots Gloucester is under new management - but continuing to serve the community through our Refills shop and bookable community space.

We're working to refresh the menu for the Cafe and hope to open by June. In the meantime, hot drinks and a warm welcome are available from the Refills shop.

​So what is Roots?

Roots is a community space, refill shop and coffee shop for Kingsholm, Gloucester.

 

We're a social enterprise, which means we're not here to make big profits. Instead, we want to make Kingsholm a more positive place to live and work.

Roots Refills

We have opened a plastic free, zero waste, refill shop selling food, cleaning products and more. Many products are price-matched to Asda, which means it is surprisingly affordable, and helps to address food poverty in Kingsholm!

Party

Roots Venue Hire

Roots has spacious and affordable space available to hire for clubs, meetings, parties, exercise classes and even weddings!

All you need is our hall and a little imagination.

Roots Cafe

The Cafe is temporarily closed while we build a new management team and reimagine the menu. We hope to open by mid-2024. Please get in touch with your thoughts and suggestions about what you'd like to drink and munch!
