Whatever you’re celebrating, Roots makes a great party venue. There’s plenty of room for party games, dancing or a big sit-down meal in the community hall.
We're happy to help you with ideas for themes and decoration and the community team have lots of creative ideas for kids' parties.

We can reserve the upstairs lounge for groups of 10-20 people if you’re buying food from us – the perfect space for a relaxed afternoon tea!

Catering
From bacon butties to coffees and cakes, let us know what you need when you book and we’ll put together a package for you.
If you are using the community hall, you are welcome to bring your own food.
Accessibility
Parking
There's two-hour parking on Alvin Street, and plenty more on nearby roads too (please check signage and local parking regulations). Only a few streets away you can park for free all day. There's a relatively inexpensive pay & display car park in Hare Lane (see map above!)
Cycling
We have a covered bike store at the rear of Roots - follow the alley down to the gated courtyard. Please lock your bike. We are not responsible for bikes or other items left in the courtyard.
